  1. What a stinker. Side note: why no new guy tonight? His *family was at the game*. C’mon Rob.

  2. Turner has been so disappointing. I was really hoping he would finally get a clutch hit. Swinging at a ball that wasn’t even close to home plate.

  3. Tough for the offense to get going when the 1 and 2 spots are a lifeless black hole

  4. Losing a bullpen game in the first game after the all-star break – just phillies things

  5. This lineup needs a real shakeup. Has there been any timeline given for Harper at 1B?

  6. Outside of Castellanos, the big money guys are a major issue right now. Schwarbers the drizzling shits, Trea is all over the place, Realmuto looks like he doesn’t give a shit and Bryce looks broken. Considering how Nola, Wheeler and Ranger looked going into the break and the injuries accruing in the bullpen, it’s getting late early for this team. Dombrowski has to make a move and make it soon.

  7. 3 game losing streak against teams we are directly competing against for the WC is not ideal. Trea Turner sucks and he absolutely needs to be moved down the lineup, he is by far the worst hitting regular on the team, oh and his defense sucks too. good thing we aren’t paying him 300 mill over the next 10 years.. oh wait

  8. I just don’t understand how Trea has been this bad. One of the best players in baseball for several seasons and he come here and sucks ass immediately

  9. Not going to win any games this series if we can only score a single run off of the starter.

  10. Philly curse in every sport where a good talented player comes here and they immediately become useless. He’s basically Al horford from 2020

  11. Lineup based on performance this year

    1.Stott

    2. Castellanos

    3. bryce

    4. bohm

    5. Marsh

    6. Realmuto

    7. Schwarber

    8. Turner

    9. Pache

  12. Rob just said Bryce isn’t playing 1st this series??? I thought he said he was earlier

  13. This team will continually struggle while their 1 and 2 hitters have below 100 OPS+ numbers. That is a horrible top of the lineup

  14. He didn’t do too bad, but starting Sanchez against a wild card rival after 5 days off was a very bad call.

  15. Kinda exactly what I expected out of the All Star break? I’ve learned over the years with this team is you can’t get too high and can’t get too low

  16. Schwarber has no business being anything but a DH. Also needs to switch with Stott in the lineup

  17. I couldn’t figure out why I was so sad but now I know! I love watching good baseball and I love watching the Phillies play good baseball even more. Seeing them play good baseball in all phases of the game has been so rare lately.

  18. Yu Darvish has a 2.23 career regular season era against us. He’s exactly the type of guy we have struggled against the last few years. Somehow we thought we owned him because we scored our two runs with a 480’ bomb last year and two more in game five with Rhys’s homer.

Bob Melvin moved him up in the rotation to face us tonight. I guess he had a plan.

  19. Trea Turner’s OBP is .295. Only other player in the lineup below .300—> Hall. Oof. The hell happened to Trea Turner?

  20. The strategy of nobody in the lineup–other than Casty, Stott, and Bohm–doing what they’re paid to do is curious and difficult to watch

  21. Don’t see anyone acknowledging Schwarber’s sneaky good game with 2 walks and a double. I’ll freely admit he’s fucking sucked but his walks and good PAs go way underappreciated by all the haters.

  22. I honestly hate that the practice yesterday was optional. Maybe if it was mandatory they wouldn’t have been flying home last minute yesterday and exhausted today.

  23. I love baseball and the Phillies but damn do most nights they bore me into tuning out

  24. Any predictions on who our extra pitcher will be tomorrow? Nick Nelson pitched 6 scoreless innings tonight which would have been nice, however it is obviously not going to be him.
