In all seriousness, I’m not sold on this being the end for him though. Hopefully he stays down there rest of season and learns to stop switch hitting and can get some of that power back.

Sad for Castro’s sake because he’s shown some very bright flashes over the past few seasons, but man, this was badly needed.

Hopefully Castro will work on batting exclusively from the right side of the plate in AAA.
I’m predicting Castro gets non-tendered. Short of an injury or a late September call-up, this will probably be the last you see of him.
Castro the starter is terrible. I wouldn’t mind him as a bench guy/project for another year to see if he can figure something out, but when you have Gonzales up and Liover, Termarr, and whoever else in the pipeline, you can’t really be letting such blatant bad performance linger on the MLB club. Marcano is a better utility guy right now, and seems like he could grow into a pretty good one in time even though he lacks any and all power. He can run, play defense, and be a good contact guy if things work out.
