Love Elly in lead off. Just like the Braves batting Acuna lead off, it’s about getting the man as many plate appearances as possible
I love Elly at 1. If he gets on I could easily see stealing 2nd then friedl bunting for a hit then 1st & 3rd for McLain.
Respect Bell for trying new things. Still would rather have India lower or way higher but this is exciting!

I love Elly at leadoff the more I think about it. Change his job description from “drive in runs” to “get on base,” which leverages his speed and drives the pitcher nuts immediately. Could be a great move.
Elly batting in the 4 hole was such a waste. I think this is where he should bat long term

When we can we finally put Votto, Stephenson, India 7,8,9? It makes the most sense right now, get India to the “2nd leadoff spot”. Their names are protecting these 3 right now, Benson and Steer should not hit behind them.

Swap India and CES and swap Stephenson and Benson, and it’s the perfect lineup.
Still curious how they’re going to get Steer enough ABs with CES’ call up though..

Just me but I’d want to be playing in the field for my MLB debut. Get the initial jitters out of the way before you have that first AB. Can’t wait to watch him though!
