  1. Makes sense. I know the backup center minutes will probably be taken up by Olynyk, Collins, or Hendricks, but they are all more PF than C. I don’t expect Yurtseven to be in the main rotation but it makes sense to have another traditional center on the roster for certain circumstances. Especially since we gave up Damian Jones and missed out on Paul Reed.

  2. I don’t see how he makes the rotation, or even gets garbage minutes

Jordan, Collin, Lauri, John, Walker starting, with Keyonte, Ochai, THT, Taylor, Kelly on the bench. I’d even have Luka to get the garbage minutes towards the end of the 4th quarter. It better be a minimum one year contract

  3. Did we have a roster spot open? Was that the Jones trade? Or Carey waiving? I guess numbers wise, it makes sense to add another big. I just don’t see the fit. What does he do that we don’t already have? Is he a great rebounder or defender? I don’t see it. Now we have to remember it’s our last spot. This guy will not play unless we have multiple injuries at his position. I remember him from Miami, and I thought he was playing really well and had a future with them. I’m not entirely sure what happened. He’s young too, I think. I’m not thrilled, but it’s our last spot, so who cares really? This spot will be musical chairs until we find another Dunn. Who knows? Yurt could be that next guy that surprises. I trust Ainge and Co. To do their due diligence and evaluate players to construct the best possible roster. That being said, he must be a pretty good player with upside.
