  1. I have a jersey with all those stats stitched on the front. Never seen another one like it.

  2. All while he was in between sneaker contracts, literally wore a different pair every night, it this case it was mostly Jordan’s

  3. He talked about this in one of his interviews. Shaq was injured, Kobe was going off and then Phil asked him to slow down and give Shaq the ball when he came back from injury.
He reluctantly agreed and the rest (as they say) is history

  4. It was within the Triangle offense too.

It wasn’t because of 50 p&r plays in a row.

  5. This is back when it was difficult to score. The league started seeing some of the lowest scoring averages since the 1950’s. It wasn’t the high scoring games we see today where even the bums can get 20 points. Back then, if you averaged 25 points, you were an elite scorer. Nowadays, you have overrated players like Bradley Beal averaging 30 but it amounting to losses. 03 season, you had 25 players averaging 20+ points. 22 NBA season, now you have 43 players averaging 20+ points.

Kobe would have averaged 35+ points for many seasons in today’s NBA. Scoring is way easier.

  6. This streak happened during a season where he was also 1st team all-defense. Let that sink in.

  7. Look at the defensive numbers thou! Dropping a 40 piece while strapin up like its nothing… these new niggas would never #mambamentalityforever
