DeMar has been a great mentor for PWill, but if we were to trade him, PWill would automatically be the 3rd option on this team (if he starts) and would easily double his shot attempts, and he’d be able to develop at a much faster pace.

This has always been stupid to me, like getting rid of DDR is going to all of a sudden make PWill play with a completely different mindset. He either is about it or he isn’t, he has plenty of places to do that in his current and previous role in the bench and starting.
Players have been trying to put that in his chest from day one, he just needs to believe it. If he finally gets it this season, DeMar isn’t holding him back from shit, he’s taking what’s his. If not, we’ll still see posts like this
