  1. Let’s be real. Morey is not trading Harden unless it’s an all star caliber player. He’s not willing to accept the Marcus Morris deal 🤣

  13. I do wonder if anything was agreed upon before Harden opted-in. I would never support a player sitting out/giving up but if Harden was told if he opts in a trade would be done then this situation is a bit different than others.

  16. Maybe if Terrance fucking Mann wasn’t untouchable, a deal would be done already.

    Nobody is expecting a huge haul for Harden given the situation, but somebody will definitely pay more than the offers being floated around right now once the Dame situation is done and as teams approach the trade deadline.

    People give Morey shit, but only a fucking idiot would trade Harden for peanuts right now just for the sake of trading him. This year is almost certainly lost for Philly regardless, so getting something back to reset with next year once Tobias is off the books is critical. We’ll have Embiid, enough cap space to sign the biggest free agent available, then the ability to extend Maxey once we’re out of cap space.

  17. I hate Daryl Morey’s style where he just demands a kings ransom for any player. So annoying. It only worked with Ben Simmons because the Nets were desperate, and he got Harden who is on the downtrend of his career.

    Everyone has seen Harden’s fall off now. To expect teams to trade all stars for him is absurd.

  22. Can someone explain? Will he not lose Harden for nothing after this year? Why wait? If they wait for the deadline, will he not even get worse offers because he’s on more of a ticking clock?
