  1. Atleast he tried guys! Don’t worry morey we have 10 more years to wait for you to do something worthwhile!

  2. Morey trying to save face with the “we totally tried to move up and pick the dude who is balling out right now”.

Feels like the fanbase has finally turned on this guy and he’s feeling pressure for the first time. I did not come away from that interview with any faith that there is a larger plan at work.

  3. What does he mean “move up”. They didn’t have any picks, it’s not really moving up at that point.

  4. Don’t.. wanna.. hear.. it…

The kid was picked 20th, Morey wasn’t about to do shit

  5. Daryl inherited some of the leagues worst contracts of all time (Harris, Simmons, horford). Harden was the best player we could have hoped to get for Ben Simmons (who is mentally & physically broken with zero trade value rn) we have practically zero cap space or assets from previous fuck ups. Daryl is at the grocery store expected to cook a great meal with $2.60 and some lint in his pocket.

  6. who gives a shit what he wanted to do. he didn’t do it. gettin tired of this dh

  7. “There was this really promising kid we tried to get by moving up in the draft, Wemby, I think his name is. You may have heard of him. We tried but it didn’t happen.”

  8. I don’t care what they attempted to do. Could sit here and play what ifs all day long. Do something with the Beard, chess boi

  9. The ‘my girlfriend goes to a different school and you’ve probably never heard of it’ of basketball GM quotes
