His third sentence should have been, “And that’s why I’ve chosen to resign.”
He’s said that a dozen times, pretty much in every pre-season interview. Ippei just doesn’t translate the ‘Angels’ part…I’d consider that pretty significant but maybe he doesn’t.
Nope I don’t think it necessarily has to be in Anaheim. I think Shohei just wants win. He deserves a competitive team. If the Angels can’t provide that, then Shohei will leave.
Then field a winning team, make winning trades, and make winning calls from the dugout
