Notes for those who can’t watch.
The EK trade changes nearly every day, one day Carolina is favored next it’s penguins. So they are afraid to really report anything since there hasn’t been anything consistent.
He ends it by saying that he believes Carolina has a number they would like EK at and the sharks aren’t currently willing to go there and so if the penguins can get the cap retained by the sharks better than the number the canes have offered then they will land him.
Other notables is that the “Pesce situation” is still ongoing and he does not say whether it’s a trade or extension. Biggest news being he has heard Teuvo is being shopped as well.
So clearly we are looking to move out cap either for EK or someone else.
Damn so I guess this confirms the earlier report. Karlsson doesn’t want to come to Carolina because of Burns’ political affiliations and is begging to be part of the Pens.
I feel like Tuevo being shopped should’ve been pretty obvious, right ?
I’d be surprised if we weren’t shopping turbo. After that disaster season I doubt he’d even want to start negotiations with (let’s face it) the cheapest organization in the league. He either doesn’t play **better** this season and his value gets even lower, or he plays much better and isn’t on a long term deal.
