Missing out on Stutzle is going to hurt for a while. Worst team in the salary cap era and we fall to 4, he goes at 3… brutal.
According to max, between Detroit, Ottawa, and buffalo, buffalo is on the next level Detroit/Ottawa. He does give the slight edge to Detroit over ottawa though based on future goal tending and depth. He recognizes the sens for their top line and top 4 d.
My opinion is that Detroit’s top line won’t match the sens but that our top 4 d is going to surpass the sens in the next few years. A strong defensive group, a great (but not elite) top line, and depth like the Marianna is going to be what puts Detroit further in the standings than Ottawa.
Max predicts Detroit and Ottawa around 90 points this season and buffalo closer to 100.
