After he went down I knew we were in trouble.

I can’t fucking wait when he comes back and the trumpets are back in full action.
What a magical year. Only short of winning the world series it would have been perfect.
I miss him and deGrom. What we offered deGrom made sense, and what Texas did was irresponsible and they’re going to be paying him a 5 year contract where he likely throws 30.1 innings over the first two years. That said man I miss the days where he comes out to Simple Man and pitches a lights out performance
It sucks, team just isn’t the same without Timmy Trumpet.

Imagine any game we lost by a slim margin this year with trumpets starting the 9th. Totally different season.
