I don’t know who Easton Lucas is but the Darell Hernaiz guy we got the last time we traded with the Orioles was a sneaky good trade. Hernaiz is doing great in the minors. Maybe this will be the same…
I knew it. I saw this coming when we signed him that he’d get flipped at the deadline. If he was better we probably could’ve got a higher level prospect, hopefully Easton Lucas pans out.

Honestly after April/May we were lucky to get what we got.

O’s fan here. Think it’s a good trade for both sides. Lucas has been really good in the minors but would likely have been lost in the rule 5 draft anyway, but he’s got solid stuff. O’s need relievers badly and if Fuji can be even half of what he’s been the last few weeks that will be huge for the O’s. Hopefully it works out for both sides!
