I saw this stat. This is fucking wild. This is what good management looks like

The Eagles invest in their O line and play with rookies and bargain backs. And have one of the best ground games in the league. (Hurts helps that of course)..

  1. If we aren’t being complete clowns we are taking the time to note that probably Miles Sanders and maybe Boston Scott are the most proven of that group right?

Swift is talented but he’s missed a lot of time, more than a Barkley for comparison and Rashad Penny hasn’t necessarily hit in that department of a breakout and Kenneth Gainwell is basically Brightwell here now.

If the intention was to just shit on the Barkley contract my apologies I just wanted to point out how this is a clown post.

  2. They also have a QB on a rookie deal and despite assembling the most talented team around him they still lost to Mahomes with a relatively mediocre team around him. I expect them to regress now that
they’re paying Hurts like one of the best players in the NFL.

  3. I mean, we don’t really know if this is what good management looks like yet lol that entire RB room is a huge question mark.

Swift is talented but cannot stay healthy and is a one year rental RB they gave up a 4th round pick for.

Considering the value of RBs today, I’m not sure they won that trade just yet.

Penny is an insanely bipolar running back who can single handedly win you a game, then single handedly destroy your game plan on the ground the next 3 weeks playing so bad.

And Scott, Sermon, and Gainwell are all non threats in the running game (other than when Scott plays us for who knows what reason).

I get Swift and Penny are both recent high draft picks who have had some big games and it sounds good, but ultimately Penny is damaged goods at this point and Swift is a rental who can’t stay healthy a full season.

Maybe it works out but there’s a reason they got them so cheap, it’s a really risky RB room.

  4. I mean, imagine the players Giants could have added for less than Leonard Williams cap hit this year? Probably half a roster of solid starters.

  5. Any RB is good with their offense line. They’re doing what everyone in the NFL is doing right now.
