Here’s how our starting pitching stacks up for our weekend Series against the Pirates: featuring a Shohei start at home tomorrow

The Pirates haven’t won a series since sweeping the Padres June 27-29th, and are 4-12 in the 16 games since then. We got this
Whenever we’re confident in taking on a shitty team, things don’t end as well as we thought. So I’m downright terrified.
I so want a shutout for Shohei, i hope his pitching trouble are behind him.
Fun fact: The last start where Shohei gave up zero runs was on April 21st. Overall he had some QS here and there but his pitching as been streaky this year since April 27th. Hope his finger is fully healed and he has a dominant second half in pitching🤞
We need this series hopefully all facets of our game are firing and we at least take the series. We need these wins heading into a brutal August.
Anything other than B2B sweeps would be less than ideal. But still wouldn’t die inside with a 2-1.
