    1990 Cardinals: 43-54

    The 1990 Cardinals won Game 97 against the Chicago Cubs, 9-0.

    This game was decided pretty quickly as Cubs starter Mike Harley left the game in the bottom of the first, after recording one out and surrendering eight runs. Twelve Cardinals batted in the bottom of the first, with the big hit coming from my childhood hero, starting pitcher John Tudor, who hit a three-run double.

    Tudor threw a five-hit CGSO, and his ERA is down to 2.66.
