I would trade either one of them or both if we can land a top 100 prospect with a ‘control the strike zone’ hit tool.
This is why I hate the term “rebuild.” It implies starting from scratch. We’re not. We’re “building,” and Foley is a valuable piece of this build. Foley and Carpenter have both been the subject of trade rumors today. I’d hate to see either one go. Trade the veterans like Lorenzen and, yes, Rodriguez – but not guys under club control. It doesn’t make sense to me.
