6. It’s nice to be on the winning side of a one run ballgame. Bibee throwing seven shutout innings was absolutely huge and gave the bullpen much needed rest. Clase looked sharp for the second straight outing. Back to .500 baby! Let’s get win number 50 and the sweep tomorrow afternoon.

7. White Sox up 2-1 on the Twins in the 7th. Could be within a game at the end of the night.

13. Bibee is our new Ace no doubt in my mind about it! DLS and Clase all pitched out of their minds tonight too. Defense was absolutely fantastic, but our offense…yeesh. Hell of a fucking game though and we get the series win!

16. ONLY RUN OF THE GAME SCORED ON MY GUY AMED’S HUSTLE BASE RUNNING. SCORED FROM FIRST ON A POP FLY TO SHORT RIGHT FIELD.

    I do think Amed, and maybe Josey, are the only ones with the combined speed and hustle to actually score on that play. It’s plays like that that make me root for the guy, even when he takes a not so good swing at a slider in the left handed batters box.

    Bibee was fantastic, as was Wheeler. Felt like an old school pitchers duel.

18. Neither starter deserved to lose that one. Tanner Bibee – I think we have a guy. Glad to see Clase finding his form from last season. He seems to have that edge back.

19. Well managed game. Tanner Bibee is a future cy young winner. First to 85 wins is getting the division. It’s well within reach. Need more of these series against tough teams

20. Positives from today’s baseball:

    Abbreviated again, still at Akron working lmao

    Pitching is the name of the game today, as Bibee rocks the house with 7IP, 2H, 0R, 1BB, and 8K. A superb performance from one of our rookie arms.

    Bullpen also does their thing as DLS and Clase take us home, with 1IP and 1K from each of the bullpen boys.

    Jose Ramirez got us our only ~~run~~ RBI today, but is was the only run we needed.

21. Schwarber was done after that first pitch from Clase. 99 on the inside corner. Just laughs and shakes his head.

22. Bibee was just great tonight. I would say he has more confidence in his stuff than Williams or Allen. Great effort by the bullpen too.

25. My wife and kiddo got me tix for tomorrow’s game for my birthday and I am so stoked. Curry/pen game on a Sunday afternoon, going for a sweep of the Phillies, looks to be great weather… what more could you want?
