I understand the desire to swing for the fences in a place like Yankee Stadium, with its short right field. And all 5 KC runs today came from homers.
But it’s baffling why Q & the Royals aren’t trying for more small ball – that’s the team’s historic strength and what sets them apart. They can never really compete as a three-true-outcomes team.
