  1. Mets, O’s, Rays, Stros coming up next real baseball teams. Sink or swim lfg

  2. Few guys are easier to root for than Rizzo. I’m so glad he’s had a great day

  3. The top of our lineup is doing well! I’m hoping Peraza can chain together a few hits because he hasn’t looked great up there, and I’m not sure how much run they’ll give him

  4. BIG WIN BABY!!!! LFGY!!!!!!!! Judge simulated game looked alright. Get nasty nestor back and JLO, make a one/two trade and clack clack. Rizzo starting to look like he is turning it around, DJ getting there. No JD…. Right there. Lets go.

  5. Nice to see Rizzo have a day at the plate he can smile about. The guy deserves all the good karma

  6. Ughh I’m starting to get into the “just make two smart gets before the trade deadline and get judge back and we’re in the playoffs! And then who knows?!?!” Mindset

  7. GEORGE IS GETTING A BROOM!

    Elaine: Yea, once again, Yankees are still at the bottom of the AL East.

    GEORGE DOESN’T CARE!

  8. good win finally got a series sweep but the orioles rays and astros series will determine this season.

  9. If Gleyber is hurt it sucks so bad. First, he’s a major bright spot in the lineup and second, it makes the FO injury excuse so much easier to make

  10. I know we’re all feeling good, however, they faced a team tied for dead last in the entire MLB. Still, they had a lot of issues. Giving up too many runs. Eating up Royals pitching that has allowed 543 runs was to be expected. I’m interested to see if we’re turning a corner, yet, I want to see this vs good/great teams. If they can’t beat Baltimore, Tampa Bay, Houston, Miami, Atlanta coming up, I don’t see a playoff contender.

    Yes the White Sox are mixed in there and the Mets, but I’m on the fence on what they do against them.

  11. Only on Yankees Reddit can someone tell you that OPS is some “new age analytics shit” 🤣

  12. I mean 8 hits, Severino is just not a very good pitcher. If he gets lit up and loses us his next start, we need to seriously consider getting him out of the rotation if we want to make the playoffs

  13. Everson Pereiras stock is at an all time high, but I hope we hang on to him. Kid has flat out hit wherever he’s been

  14. Boone just said “it’s all right there in front of us” again that motherfucker

  15. Well, we’re definitely going to be buying now.

    I’m kind of excited to see who they might add.

  16. After that sweep vs Angels I thought that was the start of a lost season. With the sweep vs Royals, I don’t know what to feel anymore. Great pitching by Cole and solid outings by both Clarke and Sevy. That’s two good outings in a row now for Sevy so that’s great to see. DJLM, Stanton, and Rizzo have finally started clicking. A lot of good things to take away from this series (I know, it’s the Royals). Hopefully this isn’t a blip of positivity and leads to something more.

  17. The Jays lead the league in the number of players who have man boobs. Alek Manure doesn’t miss any meals.

  18. Good dub.

    1) Peraza can hold down SS with Volpe at 2b for as long as Gleyber is hurt.
    2) Mckinney looks like hes currently winning the LF job.
    3) Solid start from Sevvy.
    4) Judge coming back soon.

    Felt good taking care of business against a bad team. Hope to carry that energy into the 2 game Mets series.

  19. “Getting Judge back is like making a trade for an all star”. I already see Cash saying that after making no moves this deadline.

  20. **Rizzo and Stanton are officially back!**

    **moneypaw turns**

    It cost Gleyber.

    *Noooooooooooooooooooooo*

  21. The rays are some of the biggest pretenders I’ve ever seen. Their record is due to them having a cupcake schedule in April

  22. **Yankees Upcoming Schedule.**

    * 2 vs. Mets
    * 3 vs. Orioles
    * 3 vs. Rays
    * 4 vs. Houston

    It’s not an overstatement to say that the next 2 weeks will determine our season.

    The trade deadline happens in the middle of the Rays series, so those first 6 games will determine our deadline strategy.

  23. No comments yet, so….I think our new hitting coach Sean Casey might be getting some traction. By my count, since the All Star Break, we’re 70 for 261, batting .268 and 4.3 runs per game. Ok, so it was the Rockies, Angels, and Royals, but Gleyber’s hot, and so are DJ and Stanton, Rizzo might have woken up….you gotta start somewhere, I’ll take .268 over what we were before the break.

  24. Springer just bounced into the old 1-2-3 double play with bases loaded, 1 out in the top of the 5th and I pumped my fist like Jeets. Still hate that fucker.

  25. Something I realized today was that Rizzo and Stanton look a little more crouched in their stances, not sure if it’ll do anything but Stanton looks way more balanced than he did even before this series. Could be exciting if that unlocks them

  26. Obviously I’m glad we swept and the bats woke up. But KC is terrible. I need to see a full week of this before the deadline to think we should actually buy. And even then i’d only want guys who will help us next year too.

  27. Really, really hoping DJ, Rizzo, and Stanton’s tweaks are for real. Add Gleyber, Judge, and Bellinger in the mix and that’s a really tough lineup to navigate. Give it some more time but there’s so much talent in this lineup I think they can really make some noise in the playoffs.

  28. With Hicks and Donaldson gone who do you guys think will turn into public enemy #1 with the fans? My money is on Rodon

  29. Yankees won so the Riveraveblues twitter page is obviously just retweeting minor league highlights and not talking about the win.

  30. Everson Pereira hit two homers today and is now hitting .352 in his first 14 games in AAA.

    What does he have to prove?

    Call him up now.

  31. Stanton has 6 HR’s, 14 RBI’s during the last 11 games. That’s a pretty nice power hot streak. It’d be getting more play if the team didn’t lose 7 out of the last 11 games.

  32. How did Sevy get the credit for the win? Looks like Marinaccio should have been given the W. What gives?

  33. Looks like the Cardinals are listening on Wilson Contreras. Any chance the Yanks check in on him? He’s having a solid year offensively.

  34. Joey Gallo tried to bunt the winning run home from third and popped it up to the first baseman. So glad this dude isn’t here anymore. He shouldn’t even be in the Majors. And Cashman got Clayton Beeter for him. That could easily offset giving up Duran.
