Former Saints scout explains why Baker Mayfield will be better for Bucs than Tom Brady

He might be better than Tom *against the Saints*. I don’t know what it was about the Saints but Tom always seemed to have his worst games with us against them.
I mean idk if I’m the only one who thinks this, but I think there’s a chance Baker is better than Brady last year. 2020-21 Brady, no chance. But last year Brady was not great at all.
Whatever he’s drinking, make mine a double.

The only way I see him being better is he’s more mobile, more willing to put his body on the line, and has way more to prove. If our O-line looks like it did last year, Baker can likely buy time for routes to develop where Brady was forced to throw quick routes that didn’t have time to develop.
I’ve always been optimistic about Baker as a potential top 15 QB in the league and think he still has that potential, but I’d take Brady any day
The only thing Baker will do better than Brady is winning us less games so we can draft Caleb Williams next year. That’s his only goal as far as I’m concerned. Oh, and to get Mike his 1k yards. My idel season is going 2-15, Evans continues his streak, and our two wins come against the Saints.
