[Rapoport] The Texans and QB CJ Stroud, their No. 2 overall pick, have agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract, and he gets $36.3M overall with a signing bonus of $23.38M, all fully guaranteed. He gets his entire signing bonus upfront, a first for Houston.

Omg stroud signed second does this mean anything?!! Should we be worried???!!!! Lmk in the comments
Is there any perceived cap space benefit to having such a front loaded contract?
Maybe they expect to exercise a 5th year option and extend after year 3 so that they get ahead of the rest of the market without impacting the cap as heavily in year 2/3?
That cheap rookie QB contract gonna be looking juicy in the next few off-seasons.
OH MY GOD HE SIGNED??? WE WERE ALL SO WORRIED THAT HE DIDNT SIGN YET. CURSE YOU MULHUGETA
