What do you think of the lead off bird?

I really like the cartoon bird and was ecstatic when they brought it back as the hat logo for the everyday uni’s. Saw this hat at lids this year and immediately loved it. For whatever reason, I’ve always gravitated towards throwbacks when looking for gear. The side logo (which was on the cover of the first opening day program in 1954) really put it over the top for me. I love our uniform lineup but wouldn’t mind seeing them wear these caps as a throwback every once in a while.
