Good Comments from the Packers Staff on Jordan Love and His Evaluation

On Monday night, Packers president Mark Murphy indicated that, like Rodgers’ first season as a starter in 2008, the team might take half the season or more to evaluate Love. The Packers finished 6-10 in Rodgers’ first season, but he played well enough to put the team’s minds at ease.

  1. 4,000 yds and 28 TD’s would be great. I’m hoping for less interceptions than games played.

  2. It’s nice to hear but what do you expect them to say? “It’s gonna be a rough year. Strap in folks.”

  3. What I expect is for the defense to be primed and ready to help keep scores low so our young QB can settle into being a starter without worry of being blown out.
