  1. Pete Sweeney followed up by saying “Sounds like there could have been a slight meniscus issue involved here”

Additionally, Reid also said “it should be relatively quick as we go here” in regards to KTs recovery, so take that as you will

  2. Partially torn meniscus. Should be ready for week 1. 2-3 week recovery. Bet he comes back week 2.

  3. Most likely a minimally invasive knee arthroscopy to clean up a partially torn meniscus. Only time missed will be for incision healing if that’s the case.

  4. From the NFL thread – *Injurius Proney*

Ok now I did get a chuckle from that. Man I really hope he is able to get healthy. It has to be frustrating to have all those haters.. know you have the ability to shut them up.. but then stuff like this happens that is for the most part out of your control.

  5. I mean this WAS the knock on him and has been. So can’t be surprised

  6. How can you “tweak” a knee that badly to need a surgery fielding punts?!

  7. Hot take. Richie James will have more receiving yards than KT this year

  8. Unreal. Toney is going to play his usual 6 games and MVS is our #1WR with Skyy as our #2. Holy shit did Veach fuck up by not adding any legit WR and cheaping out of DHop

MVS is our #1WR…..Let that sink in

  9. every day it gets worse. Started as a “tweak” then yesterdays news with Kelces diagnosis, now today its surgery and HOPE he can be back early in the season

I would love to have gotten even a Watkins level of play out of him but thats looking less and less likely by the day

  10. I know everyone wants to get pissed at him or mock him for the injuries, but I feel really bad for the dude having to deal with this stuff when he clearly has so much talent. It’s not his own fault and obviously he’d love to be healthy and never get hurt. It’ll be a shame if we don’t ever get him truly healthy, but I’m rooting for him.

  11. Injurious Proney. People here talking about him as WR1, but aside from his senior year of college he’s basically been hurt his entire life.

Until he can prove he can be on the field for the majority of the games over the majority of a season, he’s nothing but a gimmick, a gadget punt-returner type.
