Bears are 2.5 point favorites week 1

I think we gotta hammer Packers moneyline

  1. Where is that screenshot from? You can DM the source if you want it down low.

  2. Bears are home and we have a rookie QB. This is normal spread for the scenario week one. Do I think we’ll win in a convincing fashion? Yes. Because the bears didn’t really improve at all. They have one the absolute worse defenses in the league and the additions to the OL aren’t enough to tip that needle as rookie tackles take a couple weeks to get their feet wet. And lastly, fields is a horrendous passer and can’t read defenses

  3. They are actually then underdogs on neutral field. Home team is always given 3 points just for being the home team.

  4. But they paid big money for two linebackers I’m sure they will be Super Bowl contender with fields throwing 100 yards a game

  5. Good, it’ll be that much sweeter when we win. Also, it’s at soldier field and home field is -3 so we’re basically favored by a half point

  6. I mean I’m not gonna say it’s totally wrong. We know nothing about our team for the most part. And plus, a division rival has to get a win every now and then…they’re due for one against the pack. It’s been four fucking years lol

  7. Eh. Expected. Love is brand new and didn’t the bears QB go on a tear at the end of last season?

  8. That’s fine since Love is still a big question mark and we lost some vets. But tbh after last season, the Bears really probably shouldn’t be favored over anybody yet lol.

  9. Jump on it now, the money is going to change that line and by kickoff, it will probably be the Packers with 2.5 points.

  10. I Work with a bears fan and it’s funny to watch him try to talk shit while still being overly cautious knowing the pain that could be losing to Love week 1, or thinking about another quality QB in Green and Gold.

“Jordan love is gonna suck and it’s gonna be great!”

“Oh yea…. what if he doesn’t? What if he’s good enough to compete and gets better?”

    “Ahhh man that would suck…”

    *proceeds to shut up* 😄

  11. Contain their running back Fields and their offense should be shut down. There seems to be a lot of talk about how good he is, but uhm…. LAST IN THE LEAGUE IN PASSING. So keep your running back. We just need to close in on him until he can’t run anymore

  12. We’re playing away, week one, without a HOF QB starting for the first time since before the 90’s. It makes sense.
