  1. Sorry…Sheed easy. No hate on Zeke or Dumars, but imagine prime Sheed on this team, stretching the floor.

  2. Obviously any of the Bad Boys or Going to Work crew. The one healthy year of Blake would be an underrated addition if you could guarantee health

  3. Darko.

Last time we won a title he played so hard he broke his hand in the finals.

  4. Zeke. You can’t turn down one of the best and most competitive point guards in NBA history.
If he came up in todays non-traveling era he’d have the handles of Kyrie.

  5. I’d add Vinny. plays hard defense, can spot up and shoot. great off the bench.

  6. I would actually add bill lambier or Rasheed to take over at a big spot. Both stretch the floor and play elite defense.

As much as I LOVE Zeke, if I was going for pure talent then I’d just add grant hill to the mix

  7. Prime Grant Hill nearly Worm go went with Grant hill for the sheer scoring upsid

Edit: Forgot about Sheed but still to Grant Hill I think

  8. Rip, his constant movement is perfect for todays NBA. Reminds me of the Warriors dynasty. I think Rip would have a killer 3 as well if he trained in this day and age. He also tried on defense and can play off ball to Cade and Ivey.

I think Cade would average 6 assists a game to Rip alone haha.

EDIT: Those off-action curls would be a beauty.

  9. Seeing Zeke in that modern Pistons alt is wild.

I think that’s who I’d take on this team, too. Any Pistons team really. I know there’s a debate to be had about who might fill a void better but I’m just not sure I could, in good faith, pass up on one of the 40 greatest players of all-time and one of the top five point guards of all-time.

It’s sort of one of those situations where I’d add Isiah and have the team fit around him rather than vice versa.

  10. Walter Hermann. Kawhi has shown that players with big hands could succeed in the league. Plus dude had a sick layup package lol.

  11. Tough to not choose Zeke just because he’s the best player in franchise history. But to be fun, Tayshaun in today’s NBA would be a great fit on the team

  12. Sheed seems too obvious, so I’m going Joe D. That keeps Cade at PG but with a SG that can run point, and adds a second elite defender (assuming Ausar becomes one) and second elite shooter (38% from 3 for his career and 7 seasons shooting 40% or better) in one player.

  13. He’s not a legend here but we did get a season of peak Blake griffin and I’d take him over a lot of players we’ve had.

If not him then Grant Hill or Sheed easily

  14. Rasheed makes too much sense. Fills a need and is a good defender too. Miss his left handed threes.
