Vientos second but Alvarez can’t get out of the 8 hole??

look, i want mark vientos in the lineup everyday. not just against lefty’s (which is the case today). but this is.. a little much lol. especially with pham in the lineup and alvarez still hitting eighth. if you can hit him in the 2 hole then you can give him a shot against RHP as well.
This lineup actually isn’t bad.
Switch Pham and Vientos and that’s a good lineup
Would like Alvarez a bit higher prob flipped with McNeil but this is a decent lineup.
As much as I dont really care about the lineup this is a good one lol.

Really interesting that they’re giving Vientos reps at third. I didn’t think they had confidence in his glove. Glad to see it, TBH.
Let’s whoop those yanks like we did last night. Even though our season has been a disappointment. Beating yanks is always a sweet victory. Mets pride 🍾
