The succession seems pretty clear that it’ll be Marchand then McAvoy.

The video the Bruins players made for Bergeron was during breakup day. The Bruins organization knew this was coming for a long time. Although they say they haven’t talked about who’s the successor yet in McAvoy’s video he said (paraphrasing) “you built something great here and I’m going to do my best to keep it going.” Yes, we all know McAvoy will be in Boston for awhile if not his entire career but I’m curious if he kind of slipped that it’s him
I can see Marchand getting it for a couple of years, but if the organization really wants to set its feet into the future movement, the answer is McAvoy with Marchand’s blessing
