  1. The title made me think someone was making fun of Fields visor and I came in ready to fight.

  2. We all failed to realize that someone who is bald and wearing a visor is probably not the sharpest tool

  3. I’m sure as Matt Nagy gazes into his new Super Bowl ring he is just so mad about this comment.

  4. Watching Getsy speak the other day I thought to myself how much easier it is to listen to him than Nagy.

Nagy just seemed like such a bullshitter.

  5. I hate how every podcast host speaks like they’re some kind of expert, while not even being able to publish a coherent sentence on Twitter. Chill out Jack

  6. There have been multiple former Bears who criticized how “easy” Nagy was during practice/camp (Kyle Long and Ted Larson mocked the whole “egg toss” games). Chris Long even said that our offense was just not physical enough in that 2018 playoff loss (which he and Pace tried to fix in the following years).

This is a legitimate criticism of Nagy that isn’t new to anyone paying attention. Him winning a SB doesn’t change that. I mean did some of you guys forget him also benching starters in preseason, despite us *never* looking put together in week 1 under him? This isn’t to say Nagy was a pushover (he was a hard-ass when he wanted to be), but he clearly wasn’t demanding enough during training camp/practice’s and was too focussed on “having fun” and “being you”.

  7. Look, if you feel like you need to throw shade at a coach from 2 years ago to make your point about Eberflus’ practices, be a man and call him by his name. Making fun of his hat is middle-school shit.

It also makes me wonder how vocal this reporter was about Nagy’s practice protocols and headwear two years ago, when it was current and relevant. And if he wasn’t speaking out about it then, why not?

  8. Ugh, visor coach, after him I just wanna smack those convertible hats off anyone’s head.
