  1. >I want to put that caveat out there because I don’t want a snickering match between Seahawks fans and Swifties but I will say Swifties have it in the bag. This was much bigger than the Beast Quake in terms of the raw amplitude of shaking and it went on for a whole lot longer, of course, the Beast Quake was a moment in time, but thus far the Swifties really have Seahawks fans beat

Think we can make cap space for Taylor?

  2. I mean given that the concert is to capacity and they got standing room on the field, you’re talking about way more people in the stadium than during a football game so that’s kind of expected.

  3. You can’t compare the two at all. You have a bunch of crazed Taylor swift fans screaming as she makes an entrance onto the stage in a stadium built to amplify sound and they all knew they probably could do this before hand. Beast Quake was something that just happened and considered the greatest run in playoff history. Getting fans to cheer during a football game is more difficult than an artist singing.

  4. Just wanna shoutout Jackie, the WWU geologist in the article. She’s a great person, a great mentor, and a great scientist.

  5. Look, I respect her music and her perseverance in retaining the rights to her work, but until I see Tay Tay drag some groupies 20 yards, shake some paparazzi out of their cargo shorts and jump in to the end zone mid crotch-grab….the beast quake will always be no 1

  6. Guys we don’t want the Swifties on our ass, let’s just say the Swift quake wins to keep them off our back. All hail the new Queen of lumen field

  7. Oh look at this song, what a song! Taylor Swift! Still on her feet! Has Backup Singers now! She’s Dancing her way… for the encore!!!

  8. I was at the Beast Quake game in 2011 and Eras Tour Night 2 on Sunday…when Taylor appeared it was the loudest I’ve ever heard Lumen. It was deafening and for several of the songs the stadium was moving so I believe the data. This a fun stat and great that our stadium can create events that registers.

  9. This is very stupid but one is a concert, where music is playing from huge speakers that travel with the artist? Not exactly comparable to a single football play.

  10. Is anyone else completely fucking sick of Swift shit? Not an attack on OP btw- I think Swift is going to oversaturate her own market.
