No update as of right now on Taylor Ward. Phil Nevin is headed to the hospital to be with him.

2. I’m rooting for him, unfortunately it’s hard to imagine any scenario where he avoids the IL. His eye might be nearly swollen shut. He’ll need 10 days. Now who plays left field? Cabbage, Rengifo, Jordyn Adams, or Brett Phillips?

4. Often they need to wait for the swelling to go down before they can MRI because the swelling can often bring back inaccurate results. There is the additional concern of concussion.
