Go Pirates!!
Schwarber get rid of the gume
Scruffy play from the boys but we still got this let's go phillies
Phillies need to make Johan Rojas the permanent center fielder, he has proven himself multiple times now and is a far better outfielder than any other player on the team with a decent and clutch bat. Move Marsh to left field or let Jake Cave play in left. Tired of the errors costing us games, it's dissapointing to see the same problems costing us game after game with nothing being done to fix the issue.
the tying run 90 feet away
They had a chance there in the 9th to make up for all of the miscues and missed chances and JT hitting into a double play right there was as painful as it gets. Just needed a sacrifice fly. Marsh also took a sinker right down the middle of the plate that would have tied the game if he only swung at it. Granted he did work a walk. A game tying 2 run homer is MUCH better if you ask me. Even if you don't, I'm telling you anyway. Very unlike Nola to pitch like that. Marsh gaveth and he most certainly taketh away.
FIVE misplays in the field in addition to missing a ridiculously high number of chances to tie or take the lead. ANY better defense and the Phillies would surely have won the game
Just UGLY stuff. Defensively and ESPECIALLY offensively. SO MANY missed chances. Bases loaded no outs, one measly run
First and third, 1 out, instead of swinging at a heater right down the middle for a sure base hit to AT LEAST tie the game, if not give them the lead. Swing at a pitcher's pitch on the corner. Should have taken it. For a chance to possibly walk. Also, Harper was WAY overanxious and instead of taking the pitches and drawing a walk. Stott hit would have tied the game. Harper booting the ball. Castellanos misplaying a ball into a double. Marsh overrunning the ball and letting all 3 runs score instead of just the 1. So many what ifs.
I've said all I had to say about the ugly pigslop of a game I witnessed tonight
Any other DIEHARD Phillies fans here who can share my pain when JT took a 3-0 heater right down the middle of the plate and could have and SHOULD have taken the 3-1 pitch. Still had a strike to work with right there. Harper was also way overanxious and would have worked a walk if he didn't swing. Stott’s hit would have tied it.
So many more things I could say, but I've already long since have made my point.
Love to see the pirates win
This was a fun game to be at for one who's not really a fan of either team. But the energy of the crowd and the fact that this was a close game made the night a whole lotta fun.
I'll be at this game on Sunday and hopefully it'll be the last game Rich Hill pitches in a pirates uniform. Don't know why he signed here but he needs to be traded to a contending team. It'll be interesting to see what happens but I hope I get to watch the Phils tee off on Hill and watch him get pissed off at Shelton when he's pulled from game. I'll be sure to heckle him lol
Raise it! Almost had to take a break from being a fan after the Santana trade this week but these young bucs are fun to watch. When are Ke’Bryan and Cruz due back? Also missing the race car Ji-hwan Bae
My favorite pirate game I have ever been to what a amazing game man that Bednar entrance gave me chills
L
Can't leave 9 men on base and expect to win if your the Phillies. They do it so much they ain't making the wild card
Raise the Jolly Roger!
☠️🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️☠️
Rookie mistake? Jack Suwingandamiski is NOT a rookie. He played almost the entire year last year
Thanks!
Nice to see the ballpark sold out… But half of them were Phillies fans…
Phillies 1-4 hitters 1 for 19
The Pittsburgh Pirates are 46-58⚫️🟡⚪️🦜💀☠️🏴☠️
Harper just dominates the game again! WoW! …………..cant stop the guy
Gotta love being a phillies fan and instead of being happy and excited that your team has loaded bases, you can only watch in existential dread knowing they will all be stuck there
I've watched trea turner play with the dodgers, and this guy is overrated. His speed definitely plays but the rest of his game… whatever.
I really don't understand why Rojas isn't in the lineup every day.
Trade Harper and get more pitching😮
Peggy’s on a roll!
Gotta wonder how this might have turned out if they hadn't kept walking Schwarber instead of giving him chances to make hits.
Sat next to a bunch of Phillies fans. Lots of back-and-forth smack talk all night. Then, after the exiting, nail biting finish, they all made sure to high-five us and invited us back to their tailgate. We hung out for about an hour just talking baseball. They're impressed with our young Bucs. Great night at the old ballyard.
I hope they trade Bednar and sneak Rich Hill in the deal with him
Bryan Reynolds and the Pittsburgh Pirates wins the second ballgame over Kyle Schwarber and the Philadelphia Phillies because of Santana's trade ⚾⚫🟡☠️🏴☠️
What a frustrating loss for the Phils. How many time in two games are you going to load the bases and not even drive in a single run. Disgusting
Thanx Pirates, go Braves
Nola isn't worth big time money. He isn't anymore than a 3rd starter .
Realmuto was safe at first in the 9th
The Phillies defense…
I lost track of how many screwups Phillies outfielders had. 5? 6?
Cave goblok 😂
Sloppy defense by the Phillies
Philis vs pirata🇺🇲⚾️
I was at the game crazy at the end thank you mlb ❤ I like how we got a free bobble head to
This was a really good baseball game last night and the crowd was electric. First Pirates home game for me and I won’t ever forget it.
Gee Nola waited until the third to give up his first HR
!@#$%^&*&^%$#@!
"The Battle of Pennsylvania" between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
