  1. please cashman do not sell. i would very much enjoy to watch the yankees piss away a perfect opportunity to get better

  2. Aside from Pham/Canha don’t really see many UFA bats that help the Jays, so maybe they go for Rooker?

  3. That makes it sound like Pham is off the market too then. Wonder if Brent Rooker is available from Oakland. Jays need to make a big move for a bat or they’re in deep trouble for the postseason. Plus the Red Sox are no joke and they’re gunning for us

  4. I think we’re going to see a lot of trades this deadline where star players end up going both ways.

  5. Looking at the wRC+ leaders for RHH vs LHP, I see some names available, they may not be able to displace Varsho, but they can play vs LHPs…

    Grichuk (168), Rooker (141), Hernandez (140), Pham (135), France (134), Carlson (129), Anderson (128)

Edit: Handsome Randal is now an Angel

  6. I’m fine with this. It prevents our rivals from getting better and, while the lineup could be improved, it should be fine.

The best thing about the Cubs going for it is Stroman is off the market now and I don’t think the orioles have any options to upgrade their rotation.
