That would be pure hype.
Can we please get some footage of Banks not getting cooked? I know he’s making plays, but none of the accounts sneaking footage out shows him getting his.
I need to lower expectations, but it’s pretty nice to think that a lot of these Schoen-drafted guys may be making big plays and practically ‘core’ players for us.

Either Tre Hawkins or Deonte Banks need to start week 1. Banks has looked bad. I hope Tre Hawkins gets a chance against the ones. If he out performs Banks, he should get the start over Banks. Hawkins has mainly gone against 2nd and 3rd string guys while Deonte Banks is getting torched by the starters.
Hawkins seems to have earned a shot going against the starters. They may not want to because they already decided that Deonte Banks is the starter and want to give him as many reps as possible.
Giants are going to really rely on 2 rookies this year at Cornerback (assuming both stay healthy). They have very little depth after them.
This sounds like Darnay Holmes hype again
Hawkins and Banks are incredibly similar in terms of athletic profile.
I get the feeling this is more about getting a look at Tre and Deonte side by side. Throw similar things at them, and figure out who starts on the other side of Adoree for the next practice.
