I wonder if there will actually be a 13th forward. I have a feeling it will be the choice of accrue cap space or a 13th forward. But not both. Not enough accruing cap space to be useful at the deadline anyway with a 13th forward.
I hope Broberg steps up big this season.

I’m thinking we go with 12, especially since we saw such success with 11 forwards and Vinny on the back end last year.
I think Brobes needs to get more minutes than Desharnais this season. Him and Holloway could step in and make a huge difference for the club.
Still very upset with the Lavoie contract. If he isn’t worth slightly more than league min, we’re gonna lose him in waivers now. I understand it’s a good contract for the player, but it’s a terrible contract for the oilers. Unless Lavoie comes in and outplays last years Holloway.
