  1. What the hell…this isn’t even JUST power rankings. This is CONFERENCE power rankings. We’re the reigning conference champions and were not even top 5 lmao. I get Bucks/Celtics being in front of us honestly, I’ll be nice and say maybe even Philly, but there is NO reason for the Knicks or Cavs to be in front of us. They made basically no moves this offseason to surpass us. We should be top 5 in any power rankings, let alone conference, even disregarding the potential Dame trade.

  2. We literally beat 3 of these teams and beat the team that beat the other 2. This is just pure hater rankings.

  3. You know, normally I think everyone around here overreacts to media narratives too much, especially when it comes to power rankings, but I do have to say this one is utter nonsense.

  4. Is this literally just the standings from the end of last year? Like the seeds?

  5. Keep in mind it’s probably considering the players we lost and not taking into account that we may get Dame.

  6. I feel like we are a hard team to rank. We were a play-in team that made the finals. We just lost 2 players that were pretty important in getting us there. I don’t think it’s that disrespectful to place us outside of the top 5.

  7. but when I say there’s an anti heat sentiment, mofos will try and gaslight me lol. I think even the biggest Heat haters will call this rankings garbage. Let them cook.

  8. Miami’s deep playoff runs have been considered lucky for these “sports analysts” for the past 3 years now. I put no faith on these rankings. They largely underestimate the Heat’s potential.

  9. We lost a few guys to free agency and don’t have Dame yet. I can see the justification for this but let them sleep

  10. I dont agree with the rankings, but I do understand them. We lost oladipo, strus, and Vincent and gained…. Richardson? On paper we loom worse than last year however JJJ gonna ball out and we’re just waiting in this lillard trade to happen or not and we’ll look much different

  11. 1) Bucks, Giannis shown he can’t score in the clutch and is afraid of FTs. Rest of team is old with new coach thats not a veteran

    2) Celcucks: Still lack playmaking, KP has not shown to be healthy a full season, still no clutch time offensive consistency

    3) Philly: Need I say anything?

    4) Knicks: Need scoring outside of Brunson, Randle still there, RJ improved but hasn’t shown consistency

    5) Cleveland: Two small guards is feast on defense, two bigs with no offense besides spoonfed dunks is sapping

This article is just practically anti Heat bias. We have to show that we can defend the East and we will, but these got Hella weaknesses as I described above.
