[Calhoun] JT here at camp

Seems to me (along with other video) that ol JT is moving around like his back is stiffer than a board.

  1. He’s there but not participating. He is showing up so he doesn’t get fined.

  2. Lmao “nothing wrong with my back at all! Don’t know what TF that guy was talking bout!”

    😂

  3. I don’t want to read too deep into a 5 second video but that does not look like normal walking lol

  4. I have a bad ankle that flares up often and that’s exactly how I stumble along when it’s inflamed.

  5. I think it’s kind of funny that the same fan base who booed Andrew Luck off the field because of Adam Schefter leaking his retirement for scoops like a piece of shit is turning on its best player now because he wants a contract like Nelson, Leonard, Hines, Smith, Kelly, etc all got with one year left on their rookie deals. People are acting like it’s their money or something that pays the man.

Is JT handling the situation poorly? Of course, but the Colts are also treating him differently than any of the guys I mentioned above. JT and Pittman should get extensions because the offense will be going nowhere without them.

  6. Complete anecdote. But as somebody who has fudged his lower back up many times trying to deadlift more than he should without warming up…..that first is exactly what that looks like.

Legs work fine but you try and walk upright and tight because you feel unstable AF.

  7. That’s the balanced sure footed carefree walk of a man that is not dealing with a back injury

  8. Guys, i don’t know how big brained Irsay really is, but *what IF* the whole, JT / Irsay falling out was theater, and Irsay was actually trying to drum up interest in trading JT (for both their sakes).

Imagine the Colts discover JT needs major back surgery but don’t report it. They tell JT, look, we can’t possibly resign you to another contract, lets pretend we don’t want to lose you, but you want traded over something as trivial as money, and hopefully some sucker team gets you a bag and us a first rounder.

No one bites, so they give up and stop hiding the back injury.

  9. He’s limping and not moving his upper body at all walking. Great signs for someone ready to run the ball.
