Hopefully it’s just a day off for Suzuki then. I don’t want to see that guy ride the bench. We need him to get warm again.

Wild timing, I was just going to ask in the discussion thread when he’s eligible to start.
This front office would start Ohtani at catcher if given a half a chance. The players go out there and bust their asses to play well and win, but the FO just wants to treat them all like they are interchangeable numbers on a spreadsheet. Why are the Cubs the best team in this division but looking up at the Brewers and the Reds? It’s decisions like this. Unless the trades are in the executive suites, the Cubs are doomed for years to come.
Hmm, Bellinger in RF, Tauchman in CF I’m guessing? Even Ross has seen enough of Suzuki’s flailing?
