Miami inquired about Salvy again today but they could not agree on compensation. Salvy was “open” to the move
Royals and Marlins talked again today about a deal to send Salvador Perez to Miami.
But one source reports: "That's not happening."
Perez lives in Fla. and was open to a deal in Miami, but the teams could never agree on what KC would get back.

That would hurt like a bitch but if they’re willing to part with a good pitching prospect or two then it would probably be worth it.
Also was mentioned that the white Sox had inquired
I hate the thought of Salvy leaving, but if he goes anywhere then I think Miami is a good fit. He looked so happy playing there in the WBC – I truly think he is a player whose numbers will improve if he is playing meaningful baseball
If Salvy gets traded, this one will hurt big-time more than any other player. But I also want him to be happy on the winning team.
This would be utterly heartbreaking, but I want Salvy to have fun playing Baseball again. You could tell he was in 2021 because of how much he was crushing the ball, but lately it just feels like he doesn’t care to be out there. That hurts to see from someone who loves the game as much as he does.
