  1. Wow. Was not expecting this. I know he had a torn UCL for pretty much his whole career. Sucks so bad. From beating cancer to now recovering form TJ surgery.

  3. Fuck. He’s been through enough as it is. This really fucking sucks and no one deserved this less.

  5. Wonder if it had anything to do with not completely shutting down his training while going through Chemo. It’s already rough on the body but continuing some training during it

  6. Glad he finally got the surgery done. He has been pitching with a slight tear for years. Just wish they could of did it earlier in the year, but he probably wanted to come back from the chemo.

  17. I thought my brother sent that to me as another joke of what the front office calls a “season”. Looked it up & immediately let out a big Fffffff. The man went through enough already & now this FFS!

  20. I’m betting he retires. He already had to battle back to pitching at age 34 with cancer. It’s hard to see him wanting to sit out another 18 months and attempt another comeback at age 36.
