Well thank Christ it didn’t work out lol
Yeah he said he had a lot of long, meaningful convos with KD on the Dropping The Gloves pod.
He’s not worse than Nick Foligno. One of the better fighters in the league. I wouldn’t have minded him on the Hawks. But rosters set, Hawks will meet him game 2 at The Garden, and I hope he’s a non factor 😂
He did say in a podcast that joining the Maple Leafs would of been difficult because of his history with the Bruins. However, the tempting prospect of playing alongside rising star Bedard in Chicago was a factor in possibly coming to the Windy City. In the end, Lucic couldn’t pass up the chance to return to Boston, where he had already made a significant impact during his previous tenure. It would or be interesting to see how the team would do if he had signed the contract. I think he would end up being embraced by the fan base and also liked.
Would’ve been kinda cool for like, a season, but ultimately glad they didn’t
