[Kirschner] Anthony Rizzo complained about fogginess this past weekend and proceeded to play three games. @GaryHPhillips asked if there was any consideration in not playing him. “No,” Boone said.

Heads should roll for this and the fact that they won’t is a pretty awful state of affairs.

  1. This is a *really* bad look for the franchise.

If this organization actually held people accountable, people would lose their jobs over this.

    It is indefensible.

  2. Boone’s an idiot. Guys been the worst player in baseball for 2 monthes and complains of being unable to see the ball right and forgetting how many outs their are and they keep running him out to look like ass and hurt the team.

  3. I am a Dolphins / Yankees fan and all’s I want this Christmas is for concussions and sketchy team handlings of them to please go away… please

  4. It’s definitely a bad look, 100 percent. But none of us know what Rizzo defines as “foggy”. I keep seeing the same things thrown around when we do not know.

Fogginess is a very vague symptom that can mean one or many things and is often different to each individual.

Source: me, long term “fogginess” sufferer who still struggles to describe it

  5. Stop watching Yankees games, my bros. Let them put together a product that isn’t a dumpster fire first.

  6. Boone sits Judge during his first series back from IL to protect him, but let’s Rizzo play 3 games with obvious concussion symptoms. Boone is a clown, and the organization is a clown car. I hope Jomboy embarrasses him during his next interview

  7. Complained of mental fogginess, penciled him in anyway, went 0-5 with 5 strikeouts, played him the next 2 games too. That’s the type of clown organization this is.

  8. The Yankees did test him after the game. It also sounds like Rizzo kept some symptoms he was feeling from the team. So Im giving the Yankees a little slack there. BUT. You see that something isn’t right with Rizzo at the plate. Everyone is speculating that he’s hurt from this collision. Why does it take TWO MONTHS to retest him for absolutely everything sooner? I know he’s older so you maybe think “we’ll we’re gunna find something that may not be an actual injury and if he’s not complaining just let him play” But cmon. You have to do your due diligence and take this shit more seriously. It’s not 1970 anymore. You are paying a sports science team and medical team more money than any team in baseball. Why are they not held accountab….oh wait Hal is a pussy nvm.
