[Tyler Dunne] You don’t know Yannick Ngakoue.

  1. TLDR Yannick grew up in an awful household filled with multiple random immigrants, roaches, and mice occupying the same living space as him. All lead by an alcoholic abusive father. Resulting in him not taking to male authority easily. Even after leaving that situation, he was surrounded by gangs and drugs. His mom was always working nonstop to provide. He promised to make sure his mom wouldn’t have to work ever again. His tenure in Jacksonville soured with awful management that dismantled Sacksonville and went at it with the owners son on social media. That possibly made other owners cautious in signing him. Got with Vikings traded to the Ravens because of Ravens being way better and needing a pass rusher. Fell into a deep depression and signed a 2 year deal with the Raiders, and they ditch him after the Gruden and Ruggs year and replaced him with Chandler. He set to prove himself last season and was again in a bad situation team wise and wasn’t resigned.

  2. Wow. No joke was sitting by Yannick this morning on a flight going from Ft. Lauderdale to Chicago. Didn’t recognize him but he was one in front of me in line at the gate, and saw the name on the ticket scanner. He was one row behind me and on the way out I asked if he was the new guy for the bears. Didn’t say much more to him other than a Go Bears and a Welcome to Chicago, but he gave me a fist bump and was very kind. Instantly now one of my favorite bears.

Also the team has to do better than flying a new signing out in economy from United

  3. Such gibberish… nothing here to say he will be an awesome long time addition. Rough life. Now rich. Wish I had it similar.

  4. Could be an inspiration to a young locker room full of guys wanting to prove their worth. I like it.
