  1. Nick Kypreos. No nonsense, no funny jokes, no offtopic rants. I like his hockey mind and he brings in a good older perspective in a newer game.

  2. I love Bucci He’s so passionate about hockey and really seems like one of the guys. Plus he’s been on ESPN since I was a little kid so I’ve grown up with him.

  3. Bieksa still kind of has a bit of an edge to him that I don’t love (don’t hate it though), but I feel like he provides the most for analysis. Really good for picking up on little details that provide legitimate insight well beyond the surface level stuff you usually see from any of those networks.

  4. I’m probably a little biased being a Blackhawks fan, but as far as I’m concerned the duo of Eddie Olczyk and Mike “Doc” Emrick are the best. Eddie-O has an incredible hockey IQ and his analysis of how plays break down, etc are on the spot. For me, those were the announcers I remember when the Hawks won their 3 Cups in the 2010s.

  5. RGIII. Dude is out of pocket all the time.
“Thats some big Penix energy right there”

  6. Not any, but I will die by Loving Jack Edwards. He’s so ridiculous and I love him so much

  7. Jamie McLennan’s Overdrive show is a hockey enthusiast’s go-to! His in-depth analysis and love for the game make it a captivating listen. A true hockey pro behind the mic! 🎙️🏒

  8. Chris Cuthbert. I just think he’s one of the best commentators to grace the earth.

  9. Tyson Nash in Arizona makes me laugh. “He’s got the lawnmowerrrrr going”
Gord Miller to me, is the voice of International Hockey in Canada. I was also a fan of Chris Cuthbert in his prime years “Did you see that”

As a Habs fan who’s always had a soft spot for the Sabres though, Rick Jeanneret is my Play by Play GOAT. So many historic calls, especially in the 90’s to early 2000’s

  10. Dennis Beyak was hands down the best play by play announcer of the last decade. Anything else feels nearly unwatchable by comparison.

  11. Ray Ferraro hands down. He’s insightful, unbiased, funny and clearly a fan of hockey.

  12. I really liked when they used to get Steve Simmons on The Sports Reporters because I could really visualize myself slapping him right across the mouth.
