  1. Unfair to judge him because he was injured, but the lineup just feels so much better without Rizzo. Hope he comes back strong though

  2. Slightly irritated that we let Verlander of the hook when we almost had him so many times….

  3. Big win. Huge pick me up start from Nestor. Lineup is obviously better without Rizzo being a black hole in the top half. Still can’t get over how long Yankees FO kept running him out there.

  4. I honestly thought we were gonna lose 2-1 when Stanton got thrown out at home.

4Ks for the Yankees and Astros with 4x as many as we did.

    Wow. We must’ve Monstar’d them.

Now lets win this fucking series.

  5. Not the prettiest win, but guaranteeing that we won’t lose this series is huge. From how things felt just a few days ago, that’s huge. Nestor looked excellent in his first start back.

Let’s go for the series win tomorrow.

  6. its funny astros fans hate dusty, think hes too old school and not analytical enough, yankee fans hate boone, think he’s too analytic and doesnt have a feel for the game. its almost like when teams struggle fans find scapegoats to complain about.

  7. Hamilton had one rough appearance right off the IL and has been *money* ever since

  8. We’re going to win. We’re going to win so much. We’re going to win at the trade deadline, we’re going to win in October. We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning, you’re going to come to Aaron Boone and go “Please, please, we can’t win anymore.” You’ve heard this one. You’ll say “Please, Mr. Boone, we beg you sir, we don’t want to win anymore. It’s too much. It’s not fair to everybody else!” And he’s going to say “I’m sorry, but we’re going to keep winning, winning, winning! We’re going to MAKE THE YANKEES GREAT AGAIN!

  9. I hate our offense for sure but having Bauers with an .800+ OPS instead of the worst hitter in the league at first has been huge. Lemahieu and Stanton both looking better of late and Volpe has been good since chicken parm. Torres and IKF have been consistent as well.

With Judge back I feel like we should at least be able to be a middle of the road offense the rest of the way and I’d be surprised if we’re not in the wild card conversation until the end of the season.

  10. Rodon really needs to shove tomorrow. Taking 3/4 from these fuckers would be huge.

  11. Nothing against Rizzo but this team feels significantly better with someone who can see the baseball in the 3 hole

Bauers continuing to look better, this lineup actually feels pretty good at this point in the season

  12. Quick, someone post how it’s the 197th time a starting pitcher has gone 6+ IP and allowed 2 runs or fewer. I’m dying to know if the Yankees still lead the majors.

  13. Nice seeing nestor looking like nestor. Need to win tomorrow to make the series worth it unfortunately

  14. Kramer: Kate Upton will be disappointed tonight! Oh yea!

Jerry: Will you stop with the Kate Upton innuendo? It’s 2023, for crying out loud.

Kramer: But look at her Jerry! Who doesn’t want to be with her!

    Jerry: Sigh, I’m going home.
