[Alex Pavlovic] Anthony DeSclafani will receive a PRP injection in right elbow, won’t throw for 6-8 weeks. That almost certainly ends his season.

1. Did this feel sudden to anyone else?

   Dude was rolling the first 1/4 of the season, struggling for the next 1/4, went on IL for soreness, struggled, and then significant elbow injury. I guess kudos for him trying to pitch through the pain, but what a bummer of a season for him

2. His elbow wants to have unprotected sex?

3. You hate to see an injury to anybody… but Disco has been a liability since April.

4. Assuming Harrison, Winn, and Beck will all compete for roster spots next season. Doval, Rogers bros, Alexander, Webb, Cobb, Manaea and Stripling probably stay, that’s 10 pitchers. Junis and Luke Jackson take it or leave it, I don’t care either way if they stay or leave.

   Then probably a few free agent signing/trade acquisitions, that basically means DeScalfani is the odd man out.

5. Good .. keep him out of the roster … he’s been god awful

6. Wishing him the best for his recovery. As far as his recent performance, the effect on the roster may very well be addition by subtraction.
