  1. Warning: choking hazard.

Just lost another series we couldn’t afford to lose

  2. This team…

They just can’t put it all together, can they? Every time the offence shows up, the pitching gives up 10 runs and every time the pitching limits a red hot offence to only 3 runs, the offence doesn’t show up.

Rangers, Blue Jays, Yankees all won today as we push Mariners further towards the wildcard spot while we’re back at .500, have lost 5 in a row and are on the verge of getting swept as they dance on our field after every game – idk that feels like the season.

  3. Just when you think this team couldn’t rip your heart any more than they already have…

  4. Luckiest fucking bounce of the game and it’s in favor of the mariners

Renfroe might be the most unclutch person on this team and that’s saying something.

  5. Ground rule double bad bounce…after a bullshit strike to Ohtani…and Mariners fans still talking all the shit…I don’t…get it…?

  6. You know what, I would have preferred if we lost every game this series 10-0.

  7. Legit question: are we cursed???? Why do these things always happen to us. If that ball didn’t go over we at least tie the game. So many games this year with some freak incident

  8. They needed that so bad. That’s the season over. Three completely winnable games. Thrown in the garbage. These guys are absolute clowns

  9. Our season is perfectly represented by that ball bouncing over the wall instead of tying the game.

  10. Unlucky for the ground rule double, but at the end of the day, this dog don’t hunt.

  11. Barring a miraculous run and historic collapses by multiple teams, the season is pretty much over. Lineup had a lot of promise at points, but they could never lock in for an extended period and had way too many injuries. Starters fell off way too hard from last year as well. Bullpen had too many holes and injuries.

Would love to say it was fun, but it was pretty mediocre, especially with Shohei most likely gone after the year and the drought extending. Maybe next year they’ll rise from the ashes, put it all together and stay healthy to make a run with Trout. Probably won’t happen, but thats best case scenario unless they actually rebuild and get better coaching/development.

  12. game was completely fucking stolen by the ump and the unbelievably lucky ground rule double

  13. its crazy how easy it was to predict the choke loss in game 1 would tumble into a losing streak, and an M’s 4 game sweep

  14. I just can’t man, we even got fucked by our own walls then Renfroe to finish it off for the textbook shit.

Unfortunately, we lost the series after the first game, it was the type of game that crushes you, it was huge.

  15. I can bitterly accept that our playoff hopes are long gone, but I hate that it’s at the hands of the fucking Mariners

  16. I’m just sad. This team is what I spend half the year watching and year after year they can’t perform or stay healthy. I just want to win so badly 🙁

  17. Yeah this seasons over. Should make for another September of uncompetitive baseball

  18. There was no reason for shohei to swing 3-0 sure but the umpire literally cost us the tie and maybe the game

  19. This team always find a new way to crush their fan base, just when you thought you have seen it all then there’s new shit comes up right after. Renfroe continues to show he has no clutch bones in his body, and those low ass walls need to go.

  20. Smart hitters: “I’m going to approach the at-bat with the situation on the bases, and on the scoreboard in mind. We’re down 1, the pitcher is struggling and has a high pitch count, we got a couple of track stars in scoring position. I’m gonna look to poke a ball into right field, but I need to sit on a breaking ball. I’ll take the first pitch – especially if it’s a fastball – to see if the pitcher is in out of gas or maybe wild. OK. Here we go.”

Renfroe: I’M GONNA HIT WALKOFF MEGASLAM AND EVERYONE WILL LOVE ME!

  21. No way anyone thinks we’re still in it. Last year the Mariners snuck in off the back of a 14 game win streak. This team doesn’t have it in them to make a run like that.
