  2. If we don’t win today someone has to be fired. Not anyone associated with the team or front office but maybe like an intern or something. Or maybe we can fire like the sassiest beer vendor. Or maybe like someone can give me a job and then fire me 50 years later after I get a pension and retirement benefits.

  6. Team has been mediocre since the break. People like to bring up “10 game lead in the division” and “30 games over .500”, but neither of those are the goal. Being 30 games over .500 doesnt win you a World Series. Offense is entirely dependent on the long ball and the pitching is average to bad right now. Not going to win a title expecting home runs to carry us for 10 runs a night.

  7. One of those swoons. Rainy shitty weather. We are coasting. I ain’t worried about Spencer Max or for the most part, Bryce. Bryce has had 3 bad starts. One after a long lay off and one in conditions they shouldn’t have been playing. Charlie’s got me worried but he knows how to pitch in October.
    Get to the end of the year with a big lead and let Spencer Bryce and Charlie rest some and we will be good to go

  9. It seems like Marcell does so much better in ballparks with a roof. Do the numbers support that?

    I still think he’s been putting up good ABs, but he’s not as hot as was a few weeks ago

  10. I honestly am not worried. Guys, we are talking bad weather on the road PLUS we’re just shaking off the All-Star malaise. I think this team has proven itself many, many times over that the skill and potential are there to do it again. Honestly now is the perfect time for our lull and to get things back on track
