1. the keim espn article says his door is always open and players are free to come in and talk to him after practice if they have any concerns. he is not some hardass. he cares about you. think about it as gordon ramsay. he’s not yelling to be an ass. he’s yelling to make you better. and if you question his methods, like ramsay, look at the rings. Look at the michelin stars. It works.

2. This team just use to soft ass practices is the problem.

   So we change to soft practices so we can go 8-9 this year again?

3. I just hope that the commanders offensive players are seeing and hearing the public’s response to this.

4. There’s nothing wrong with players not liking his approach, but it’s something wrong if they were to rebel against it. We’re going to see some words exchanged on the sidelines this season, but long as we’re winning and the results are better, who’s going to care? Only when you’re losing like this organization have been, it’s a big deal! Those unnamed players are going to get slammed now that Rivera put it out there.

5. Nobody in this offense has won anything here – most haven’t even been on a team that’s gone over .500.

   The ones who have, did it somewhere else.

   Guys who have won nothing in the league complaining about the guy with rings brought in to get things going being too intense? Jesus.

   Hope this shakes by week 1 or the guys in their feelings right now realize it’s good to have a coach who isn’t going to coddle you and care about you being too sensitive to take his coaching as a grown adult male.

   He’s here to make you win football games, the team has a therapist if you need to go have emotions about the way he gets you there.
